A Lifetime of Fitness - Changing the way we view Fitness over our Lifetime.

Appreciating the lifetime evolution of mind and body fitness allows us to appreciate the gift of life and the joy of living. The generation of baby boomers who lived the high life of the sixties does not have the same outlook or their later years as previous generations. If we are to be living longer how do we ensure that we have a body and mind that can enjoy it?
If we look at what drives the growth and aging of the body we have the perspective of time that creates fitness. Today it seems like we have little time to bother with the processes that create life. Fitness programs focus on the end result and neglect the forces that create the lifetime we have been born into. Typical models of aging say fitness will decline with age as less growth is signaled by the brain. Your lifetime, in the eyes of modern medicine, is pretty much viewed as ongoing decay after 35 — fairly depressing!!!!
The key to fitness and a longer lifetime is directly connected to cell growth and decay. Despite the lack of human growth hormone as we age, the body is CONSTANTLY signaling to create new cells. As you read this sentence (in about 5 seconds) your body is building more than 15 million cells!
So how do we create better, healthier, stronger cells that create the kind of fitness that makes this lifetime as worthwhile as it can be?
Body building and exercise marketing support models of fitness that emphasize the muscular body which provides the power for the body. The supplement to the muscular body is the brain function - which actually runs the show. In building better brain function for a better lifetime, fitness is best viewed as much more than stronger firmer muscles.
A lifetime body, a lifetime perspective of fitness is one that highlights the role of the brain, brain development and emotional response to changes in life cycles. The brain creates the hormones and runs the endocrine system that creates our cycles of life. And how we respond to these cycles will determine your body’s response to fitness. Yes - attitude is everything…
As we age, it could be very easy to “give in” to the decaying process that starts after age 35. But today we have more choices and ability to enhance our brain function than ever before on the history of the planet.
Today, we have more potential to create a lifetime of fitness that will out shine the history of human kind. The first steps are expanding our perspective on what creates a better body building program, the role of supplements in fitness and the type of fitness training that gives longevity and joy of living.
